A park-side classic and independent coffee bars.

MAKE AN AFTERNOON OF IT

Start at Fika Fika by Yitong Park, then choose either Coffee Underwater to the northeast or Full of Beans farther south. Leave time to cross the main roads; this is a neighborhood wander, not three adjacent storefronts.

Fika Fika is an inviting introduction to Taipei’s roasting culture beside Yitong Park. Its Nordic-influenced identity and range of roast levels make it useful for a group with different coffee preferences. Pair one chosen cup with a park circuit instead of rushing between trophy cafés.

OUR SUGGESTED ORDER

A cappuccino, or ask for a hand brew matching your preferred roast level.

Before you goChoose the Yitong Street shop beside the park. The A13 counter is across the city in Xinyi.

Coffee with an experimental streak

Coffee Underwater

Underwater uses coffee as a starting point for experimentation, including non-alcoholic mixed drinks described in its roaster interview. Pick it for an exploratory cup in the Longjiang lanes, especially when another plain espresso is not what your afternoon needs.

OUR SUGGESTED ORDER

A current coffee mocktail, or a filter coffee to explore the house roasting on its own.

Before you goFind the blue fish-hook-inspired sign in Lane 106. The official website had a certificate problem during research, so the linked roaster interview supplies the branch details.

Full of Beans

Longjiang Road · 充滿豆豆咖啡館

Full of Beans adds a hand-brew-focused stop to the Longjiang corridor. Its recognition in the local specialty-coffee association’s manual-brewing category gives curious filter drinkers a reason to step into the lane. Choose it for the coffee before moving on to the neighborhood’s broader café options.

OUR SUGGESTED ORDER

A hand brew from the current bean selection.
