Bookshops, university lanes and established roasters.
The university-side coffee circuit spans both sides of Roosevelt Road and the southern Shida lanes. Wenshan and Zhanlu reward bean curiosity, while All Day is the choice for coffee with food.
Gongguan 公館 or Taipower Building 台電大樓3 considered coffee stops
Start at Wenshan in the Xinsheng lanes, then choose Zhanlu across Roosevelt Road or All Day near the southern end of Shida Road. Add bookshops or a river walk; use the MRT if you want to skip the longer street sections.
This Zhanlu branch fits a Gongguan day of bookshops, university streets and a measured coffee break. It is a good option for exploring the roaster’s beans without heading into the busier eastern shopping district.
OUR SUGGESTED ORDER
A brewed single origin; choose a bag in the same roast style if you enjoy it.
Before you goThe entrance is in Lane 284, west of Roosevelt Road. NTU’s campus is across the main road.
This Wenshan branch belongs to the quieter side of the university neighborhood. Pick it for a considered black coffee between bookshops and the Wenluoding lanes. The broad roasting range makes it a useful stop for people who enjoy classic fuller-bodied styles.
OUR SUGGESTED ORDER
A single-origin brew, with your roast preference explained when ordering.
Before you goEnter Lane 56 from Xinsheng South Road. This is the NTU branch, not the shop in Jingmei.
11-1, Ln. 56, Sec. 3, Xinsheng S. Rd., Taipei, Taiwan
The Shida branch brings All Day’s roaster-and-food format to the university side of Taipei. It fits a day moving between books, small shops and the river, particularly when you need a meal and coffee together rather than another tiny bar.
OUR SUGGESTED ORDER
A house milk coffee or hand brew with the current food selection.
Before you goThis address is at the southern end of Shida Road. Plan around the Taipower Building side of the neighborhood.
